OTAGO FRUIT

GOOD SALE IN LONDON

(By Telegraph.) (S^Mtal to "The Evening Post.")

DUNEDIN, This Day. The apple-growers in Otago are encouraged by the cablegrams this week giving tht results of the London sales. The Maimot's shipment included the first of the Otago apples to reach London this season, and it ia interesting to note that some of the Cox's Orange variety brought prices which constitute a record for apples from any part of New Zealand this Beacon. These particular apples were grown at Fruitlands, previously known as Bald Hill Flat. There is a record of 14s per case for Cox's Orange grown at Ettrick.
