Mr." E. d.- Smith, M.P., said that recently-, four mills had closed within seven-miles radius, and 45 employees and *$8 children were affected. The industrjr was doomed unless American importations were stopped: The Minister expressed his sympathy with^he workers, and'said that where posSWe the money should be spent in the ftymtiy.
