LONDON, 17th May. Following are the leading teams in the Soccer League championships, showing the final position at the end of the season:—
First Division.—Newcastle, Huddersfield, Sunderland, Bolton Wanderers, Burnley, and West Ham United.
Second Division. — Middlesbrough, Portsmouth, Manchester City, Chelsea, Notts Forest, and Preston. Third Division ■ (Southern).—Bristol City, Plymouth, Milwall, Brighton, Swindon, and Crystal Palace. Third Division (Northern). —Stoke City, Kochdale, Bradford, Halifax Town, Nelson, and Stockport County. The following promotions have been granted:—
From Second to First.—Middlesbrough and Portsmouth.
From Third to Second. —Bristol City
West Bromicli and Leeds City have been relegated to the Second Division, and Darlington and Bradford City to the Third Division. It will be necessary for Aberdare and Barrow to apply for re-election to the Third Division.
