GISBOKNE, This Day.
At the inquest on Frank M'Garten, an elderly man who died from injuries through being knocked down by a car in Gladstone road, evidence was given that the car, driven by Ainslie Dunstone, was not travelling more than 10 miles per hour. The night was wet. The Coroner held that there was no evidence of carelessness or negligence on the part of the driver.
