PROCEDURE CRITICISED
(By TelegrapJ»)
(Special to "The Evea/ng Post.")
AUCKLAND, This Day. Tho present Children's Courts in New Zealand wero criticised Vby Drr. Hilda Northeroft in a lecture hst evening. She said that the cases were dealt with exactly as in the 'ordinary Court. All the formal procedure of the Police Court was carried out. 'Xho police wore thcro in uniform, reporters in attendance, and tho accused ehildron represented by counsel. Everything that should not be there was there. The Children's Court should not be like a Court at all. It should V> like a father's study at home, whore the child's mistakes wero talked wer in an informal wnv.
