Further <wiin liuh been reported in tho Western and Southern districts, and rivers were high in Westlaud this morning. Westerly and south-westerly winds huve prevailed, but have moderated since last: night The weathor has been squally and changeable, but a decided improvement is evident in most parts of the country this morning. The forecast to-day is for cool and changeable conditions, with scattered showers in'the Southern districts. A very cold nighty mny-bu expected. The barometer id rising slowly, but Clio movement is only regarded as temporary. Westerly breezes showing a Ejpulherly tendency are predicted.
