CIVIC LEAGUE MEETINGS

Meetings of the Civic League candidates will be held as follows:—Tonight, at 8 o'clock, in the Khandallah Public Hall, the Ngaio Hall, and tho new school, Kaiwarra. The speakers at these meetings will be Councillors G. A. Troup, B. G. Burn, H. A. Huggins, and J. Aston, and Messrs. J. N. Wallace, G. E. Fownes, and F. Bennett. To-morrow, at S p.m., meetings will be held in the Lyall Bay Schoolroom and . the Hataitai School. Councillors Luckie and Huggins and Messrs. James A. Doherty, T. C. A. Hislop, and J. N. Wallace will be the speakers at these meetings.
