The nominations for the Mayoralty, City Council, Harbour Board, and Hospital Board closed to-day at noon. Messrs. C. H. Chapman and G. A. Troup were nominated for tho Mayoralty. There were 32 nominations for the City Council (15 councillors required); 9 for tho Harbour Board (4 required), and 1 24 for the Hospital Board (14 required). The elections will take place on Wednesday, 27th April, The voting on the system of Tating will take place on' the same day. The candidates nominated are as follow:— MAYORALTY. Charles Henry Chapman, nominated by John Cochrane and George T. Savage. *George Alexander Troup, nominated by John T. Martin, D. J. M' Gowan, and Catherine A. Andersen.
