LOWER HUTT ANNUAL GALA.
The objects of the Lower Hutt Gala and King Carnival are mainly to beautify and improve what is already known as "tho 'Garden Suburb." That a great deal of support will be forthcoming as evident, but tho Wellington public are invited to spend Easter Monday amidst the pleasant surroundings of the Lower Hutt Recreation Grounds, and to participate in: the gala. Picnic parties are especially catered for, but meals, and refreshments arc obtainable on the grounds. : An attractive sports programme has been arranged. Special trains will run at excursion fares, aY we}l-as a continuous bus service direct from Lambton to the Recreation Grounds. .
Sir Maui. Ebmare has: accepted the office of patron.
