Vilma Banky, supported by Ronald Colman and Gary Cooper, gives a fine perw mfu?. c A n f^l Winning of Barbara Worth, the chief attraction at the De Luxe Theatre. The fflm is an admirable adaptation of Harold Bell Wright's stirring novel. The story tells how Worth, in order to secure additional capital for irrigation schemes, enlists the co-operation of a grasping eastern capitalist, James Greenheld, who only sees the desert as a place in which to make money. Greenfield's desperate measures to ruin Worth and the latter s rescue at the hands of. the two jnanlyyoung engineers, Abe Lee and Willard Holmes, both of whom are in love with beautiful Barbara Worth, make a story of absorbing interest. The supporting films include "Madame Dynamite," a comedy, and a gazette. Mr: Emanuel Aarons, on the' Wurlitzer organ, pjays a Scotch medley and "Roses of Picardyl" Ihe orchestral items and a cornet solo by Mr. E. Elliott are proving popular.

"THE WHOLE TOWN'S TALKING." Rollicking entertainment of high-speed farce, a picture with a comic action in every foot, that's how "The Whole iowns Talking" is described. It is a special Universal comedy, featuring Edward Everett Horton, ' last seen here in " Poker Faces." For this great attraction matinees will be neld daily^for one week, commencing ?' th«, De Luxe next Friday, at /JO. J.ne programme will be repeated on Good Friday evening, and the following week. Special numbers on the Wurhtzer will be played by Mr. Jimanuel Aarpns, whilst the Orchestra De Luxe will render a delightful musical score. Special reference to booking is mentioned, on account o£ the Bristol i'mno Co. and Aitken's Book Arcade clos--ing on Friday, Saturday, and Monday next. Patrons are urged to book seats well in advance, and on the days the Bristol and Aitken's are closed the box plans will be on .view at the theatre daily
