The outside portion oi: the course proper, whereon flags were placed fifty feet out, was available for training operations at Eandwick this morning. The going Was very heavy. Limerick and Reonui finished together at tho end of fivo furlongs in linin 7isec. JJiuiericlc gave tho impression that he could have done much better. Palota was defeated by Tressilian over fivo furlongs in lmin 7-Jsec. Battlement, Imitator, and Naos covered ten furlongs in "mm 20sce. It was a fair gallop. Count Cavour moved freely over seven furlongs in lnlin 3(isec." Amouiiis sprinted five furlongs in 1 mm Biscc, and finished ou well. Heroic gave a good display over six furlongs in lmin 18isec. Top Gallant galloped six furlongs in lmin 18soc.
