LONDON, 16th March.

Fruit shipments by the s.s. Jervis Bay are being marketed. South Australian and Western Australian pears are opening up in variable condition. Some are rather over-ripe. Trusses ranged from 3s Gd to 6s; %-size cases 8s 6d to 12s 6d, halfboxes 7s to 12s.

South Australian grapes were rather immature, but they realised for %-size cases 17s, 38s.
