200 Yards Handicap.—H. Farnell 1 0 Trott'.2, N. White 3. As White and ? v . Farnell are now equal for the cup with 10 points each, a further race-' bettt-een them will take place tomorrow evening, at 5.30, at the Thbrndon batliß.
The Hutt Swimming Club are holding another carnival at the Riddiford Baths oh Saturday afternoon* The star evtnt will be the 880 yards provincial championship, in which all the local cracks will be competing. Apart from that, the entries are the largest that have ever been received for a ,cafnival in Wellington, and patronß should have nn_ afternoon of first-class sport. Special diving events have been arranged, and these alone should be worth going to see. i
