ST. PATRICK'S DAY.
The feast of the Patron Saint of Ireland was quietly observed to-day. There were no sports, as was at one time customary. At all the churches this morning there were large attendances, and special services and Masses were celebrated The day was observed by the Catholic schools as a holiday. To-night the excellent standard of the fat Patricks night concerts of the past will be fully maintained, judginir^v the programme published.
