A sad fatal accident occured at 9 a.m. today, when a young lady, Myra Morris (18), of Frankton, stepped off the footpath on the way to work, and was about to cross London street when a heavy lorry, driven by a young man named Edward Rouse, turned the corner, knocking her down. She was killed almost instantly.
