ELECTRIC LIGHT SPORTS TONIGHT.

With V. Grose and T. Oakley competing at the electric light sports meeting at the Basin Reserve to-night, the cycle events should prove more than usually interesting. Recently at meetings at Hastings and Napier. Oakley scored decisively from Grose, but the latter mai'> amends at a meeting at Dunnevirke on Wednesday. The meeting qi the pair to-night should prove full of interest. Besides the cycle races, there is a full programme of athletic events, and also several novelty races. All the leading local athletes will "be engaged in various events, and performances should be of a very high standard. Among those taking part is R. A. Rose.
