WITHIN KUOMINTANG
(United Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 7th March, 10 a.m.)
PEKIN, 6th March.
Both Chinese and foreign newspapers are giving daily prominence to the alleged conflict of moderates and extremists within the Kuomintang, which is stated to be going on in Canton as well as at Hankow and Nauehang. Hsuchien, Nationalist Minister of Justice, leader of the Radicals, is reported to be determined to overthrow Chiang Kaishek, while Chiang is anxious for the expulsion of Borodin. Some of the vernacular papers foresee the formation of a moderate party,-led by Chiang, opposing both the Bolsheviks and the northern militarists.
