AT NEWTOWN PARK

THIS AFTERNOON'S PAGEANT

It takes no skilled prophet.to anticipate a record crowd at Newtown Park this afternoon when Their Royal Highnesses will be present for an hour or so at the. Military Pageant. The outstanding feature of the afternoon's proceedings is the formation of a living flag by four thousand children, who will also make .the_ letters of the word "Welcome." In the bright sunshine Wellington's ..rising generation will make a brave show in their red, white, and blue, and, what is-more to them, they will get a view of the Duke and Duchess at close" quarters.

Other features- of this afternoon's pageantry will. bo. musical.. rides Cand drives by mounted troops and artillery, the historical pageant of the Queens, and the "March of the Army through the Ages."
