The teams.took the field as follows:— H.M.S. Renown.—J. Taylor; Lamb and It-lbot: Jones, W. Taylor, and Watts; Bartholomew, Seymour, Breeze, Ball, and Milis. ■ - ■ . . Wellington.—Tarrant; Gibb and WCtiit; Thomas, M'Kee, and Burke; Barton. ir-Elligott, M'Leod, C. Balland, and Cudby. The Renown's first goal came from Watts, and before half-time the visitors Bcored again, this time from a ■ corner, placed by Bartholomew and sent into the next by Breeze.' In- the second' spell the visitors had command of the game. Wellington could not break through their defence; and Breeze scored again, .the ■■ Renown winning 30. Mr. E.-Ormrod.was the referee.
