Tallow.—Spot market quiet, with easier tendencies. "Hemp.—Manila market easier. J grade S> ebruary-April shipments sold -£42 10s Market closed steady. March-May shipments quoted sellers £43. Sisal market weak. Sellers No. 1 February-April shipments and onwards £38, No. 2 £37. New Zealand market is easier. Highpoints March-May shipments sold £35, fair £34."

Blues; market fluctuating owing to large arrivals of Japanese, which sold afloat at £28 and March-April shipments "£29 15s. Value A grade Tasmanian March-April shipments about £19. . Beans.—Market continues dull. -English winter offered 43s to 445.' Cocksfoot.—Market quiet and prices unchanged. "Casein.—Present quotations are: New Zealand rennet, £50;, French rennet,'£6o; Danish, £65; Finnish lactic, £61. "Eggs.—Prices declining owing to large supplies coming forward from Continent Present quotations are:—English and Dan- 1 ish, 15s to 16s per long 100; Dutch, 14s to 14s Gd; Italian and Belgian, 12s to 12s 9d; Polish, 10s to 10s Gd.
