Interest m the. , Feildiug Swimming Clubs electric light carnival on Saturday evening was heightened, by the presence of two New Zealand lady champions, Missesi Stockley (Auckland) and Miller (Uunedin) and the Wanganui champion, Mres btratton. There was a record crowd and an excellent evening's sport was provided One of the most interesting events was the 220 yds open,'in which Rylamls (Wanganui) was conceding 12yds to Miss Miller (Duuedin). At the last turn Inlands was only a reach behind the lady champion,, but. Miss Miller put on a great dash of, speed and won comfortably In the 100 yds ladies' handicap Miss Strattons ssec handicap enabled her to win by, a couple of yards from Miss Miller (3sec) with: Miss Stockley (scr) a close third The Fisher Cup (50yds) was won by Miss W. Dewe (Feilding) and the Haybittle Cup for primary school boys was won by H. Dewe.
