The fund opened by tho Lord Mayor of London for the relief of families of miners killed 'n the mine disasters at Cwm and Bilsthorpe has in one day reached tho sum of about £6000 The King sent £100 and tho Queen £50. Tho Minors' Federation, which also opened a fund, has received in one day £10,000, a largo proportion of which is in slnliiigs and sixpences.
