Anglican Church people are reminded by advertisement to-day that to-morrow the offertories at all Church of England services are on behalf, of the Melanesia*! Mission. The income of the mission at present does not allow the bishop to undertake work in certain islands in the Northern Solomons, which are asking for mission workers, and in many ways the work of the mission is handicapped through lack of funds. The Bishop of Wellington has appealed to the different parishes in his diocese to make their offertory a record one. Parishioners unable to be at church are. asked to send their donations either to their vicar, or to the secretary of the Board of Missions, Ballance street, Wellington. *
