FARMER'S CLAIM

CHRISTCHURCII, This Day.
An important test "case involving farmers' interests came formally before tho Magistrate to-day, and was removed to tho Supreme Court. Walter Frederick Kerr is suing the Avon Dairy Company for £14, tho balanco of tho purchase prico claimed to be due on butter-fat. The company wont into liquidation in 1925. It was stated that about £5000 was involved in respect to .•ill suppliers. Other companies are also interested in tho decision.
