LEAGUE INQUIRY
"WEST COAST IGNORED"

GBEYMOTTTH, 3rd March. Mr. D. J. Wingham,' a vice-presitlent of the New Zealand league Council, and a South Island representative and president of the West Coast centre, complains that he received no official notification of the inquiry being held. Thus he did not attend yesterday's meeting. Mr. Wingham states: "If the disqualified men appeal, the whole matter must come before a really full meeting of the council. Man- of the delegates at Auckland do not cut much ice. In the opinion of the "West Coast leagues, the locale of the council should be shifted to Wellington. So far as I know, Dr. Thacker, th other South Island delegate, was not pr -?ent at yesterday's inquiry. I telegraphed to the council yesterday for information as to the result of the inquiry, but no reply is yet to hand.
