TWO-YEAR-OLD INJURED
V (By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.")
CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. While exercising at Riccarton yesterday, Mr. George Gould's two-year-old colt, Jericho, by Archery—Judith, one of the most promising two-year-olds trained at Riccarton for many years, met with an accident which may yet lead,to his destruction. Shortly after the commencement of his morning gallop, Jericho faltered and stopped, and an examination showed that he had broken a fetlock. He was removed from the track in the horse ambulance, and an effort is to be made to save him for the istud. Jericho was regarded by some good judges as a likely Derby winner. \
