MAN CHARGED WITH THEFT

HASTINGS, 3rd March,

Leouiii-d Llewelyn Grant, aged 35, was uharged this-morning with stealing a cash-box containing cheques and money to the value of £560 11s Sd, the property of Lusk, Spence, and Dedcnne, solicitors, and was remanded till next Wednesday. The cash-box was discovered in a coal heap at the rear of a billiard saloon early this morning. Tho cheques were intact, and all the cash has been accounted for except a few shillings.
