EASTBOURNE FERRY SERVICE.
The management of the Eastbourn" terry- service advertises a special time-table m this issue in connection with the .visit of tho Duke and Duchess of York. Special boats are being run to carry Bay residents to Wellington to witness the celebrations, and a convenient time-table lias been propared for the night service. Special attention is also drawn to the alteration to the early boat on Sunday, morning, this boat now departing from Wellington at 9.15 a.m. instead of 9.30 a.m. Picnic parties, bowlers, trampers, and tenuis enthusiasts should note the alteration. The bush and the beach at the bays are in perfect condition at present, and parents should note that children can bathe in perfect safety. Tennis enthusiasts have ample courts, both at Rona and Day's Bays, and players can choose either grass or asphalt. If tho Renown leaves Wellington at n convenient hour on Wednesday special excursions will be run by the ferry service (r, ensure a fitting farewell to the Ro.Val Party. Alterations to the bus timetable are advertised in this issue.
