TEACHERS' APPEALS

THE BOARD FOR 1927

The personnel of tho Teachers' Appeal Board for 1927 is announced in the "Gazette" published yesterday. The board is to consist of Mr. A. D. Thomson, (chairman), Messrs. W.. W. Bird and T. B. Strong (representatives of the Education Department), Messrs. T. Brodie and F. 11. Campbell (representatives of the secondary school teachers), and Messrs. H. A. Jones and E. J. Thompson (representatives of the technical school teachers). As Mr, Bird is also grading officer for the Wellington district, and consequently is unable to sit on the Appeal Board in consideration of cases in which he is interested in that capacity, Mr. Strong will take his place at all Wellington sittings.
