SCHOOL PICNICS.

The scholars of the Island Bay Baptist Sunday School held their annual picuie at Karori Park on Saturday last. A special tram car, loaded to its ullest capacity left for the park in the morning. On arrival there the children were served with refreshments, which was greatly appreciated at tor an early breakfast The teachers under the superinteudency oi Mr. A. bibbs, spared no effort to give the young people a good time, the' day beino occupied with and races. In the afternoon a ftood number of the parents and friends of the scholars journeyed oiu and spent an enjoyable time.
