HAMILON, This Day.

A fatal accident occurred near Te Aroha on Saturday night; Matthew Thomas Davis (56) was run over by a car. He was returning from the races and, when crossing the road on the way to his sister's house, he slipped and was knocked down by a car. He was seriously injured and died a few minutes later. The deceased was a haupiri resident.
