Man}- New Zealand bowlers will regret that Mr. James Wall, the late president of the N.S.W. Bowling Association, will not be able to accompany the team as was his intention to do. Quite recently Mr. Wall was presented with a large grandfather clock, valued at 150 guineas, by 4000 bowlers of New South Wales as a token of their esteem and appreciation of the services rendered by him during his long term as president. Mrs. Wall was also presented with a gold wristlet watch.
The French foot is narrow and long. The Spanish foot is small aud elegantly curved. The Arab's foot is proverbial for its high arch. The foot of the Scots is high and thick; that of the Irish flat aud square; the English short and fleshy. Swedes, Norwegians, and Germans have the largest feet, Americans the smallest. Russian toes are "webbed" to the first joint.
