FURTHER OPPOSITION

LONDON, 2Vth February. The National Church League strongly opposes the Revised Prayer Book as sanctioning Church disunion and corrupting Protestantism by facilitating the restoration of the Mass; permitting the reservation of the consecrated bread and wine under conditions leading to the idolatrous worship thereof, and opening the way to the revival of the doctrine of Purgatory.
