1 ADELAIDE, This D,ay. The possible effect of the forty'-fdur-hours- week judgment has caused consternation in South Australian employing circles. It is stated that it will cpst the railways £285,000 for additions to staff, and £100,000 for. additional machinery which will be needed to eopo with the shorter week.
