Control Board is responsible for the fact that a reduction in the wholesate price of butter will synchronise with an increased retail price of 2d a jpound. He asserts that the board last week raised the price 2s a cwt wholesale, and has now dropped it "Bs, compelling the retailer to cover himself oa last week's purchase prices by charging the customer 3d a pound above the wholesale price.
