WHITE NEW ZEALAND LEAGUE.
The objects of the White New Zealand League were outlined by Mr. R. J. C. Groves to a large audience at Day's Bay yesterday. Mr. ' Groves . stated that tho league was equivalent to the White Australia League, formed over thirty years ago in Australia to urge the need of excluding Asiatics from that country. The White New Zealand League urged the total exclusion of Asiatics from the Dominion.,- It also maintained that Asiatics who were in the country should make a direct cash contribution towards the defence of the Dominion. Following his address, Mr. Groves secured a number of signed pledges to support the league and its objects.
