LEAGUE OF NATIONS UNION.
An interesting address will be given pp Monday week, the 28th of this month, in connection with the league of Natipns Union. The lecturer is Dr. Norman White, the second in charge of the health, organisation of Geneva. He is paying a short visit id the Doniinipn, touring tptb^ Islands, and Monday, the 28t£ inst"., 'is his last evening in Wellingtpri, "as he leaves the next day on his return to headr quarters. The doctor has had a very /ide experience, having lived many years in India; he had most to do with" the" fight against the typhus outbreak in Easterri Europe, and has ispent a considerable time in Russia. As his special department at Geneya has. npt so far had any representative visiting. New Zealand,' there" is a wide field open to him for bringing before the public a ivjyid picture of one of-the most, interesting portions" of the valuable work undertaken by the league. The meeting on Monday week will be held in-the Conference Hall of the Dominion Farmers' Institute, in Featherston "street.
