Demand runs principally on ■ light weights. Mutton: New Zealand' ' prime crossbred mutton, North Island light-7%d, heavy Wii; market quiet, limited demand: Beef: New Zealand. prime, ox beef, ■hinds 4%d, fores 3%d; market nominal, demand nil.' Australian frozen meat: Good .aver; age quality, crossbred lamb, light 7}4df market weak, demand poor; good average quality crossbred mutton; light 4%d; market dull, moderate 'demand. "Pork:; Market unchanged. Prices nominal. Messrs.- Dalgety and • Co., Ltd., report having received the" following" cablegram from their London house; under' date of the 11th February:—"Frozenl lamb market nominally unchanged, but. 'lower' -prices would have to be accepted to sell considerable quantities. ■ We-quote New. Zealand North Island heavy 9d,.light. 10% i." Messrs. Levin.and. Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their.London agents, dated -11th February tr—"As compared with' last week's quotations,- the spot market for lamb and.mutton is unchanged, and the. supplies are- temporarily short." ..,,." .
