ADVERTISING IN AMERICA
In furtherance of the policy of displaying New Zealand literature and photographs in the direction most likely to reach intending visitors or people who are likely to be interested in this Dominion, the Government Publicity Office has for some little time past been forwarding regular supplies of material to Canada and the United States.
Among the letters of acknowledgment recently received regarding this material are some from, the Central Georgia Railway Company; Savannah; the Colorado and Southern Railway Company, Denver; the Pennsylvania Railway, Philadelphia; American Express Company, Portland, Oregon; the Department of Interior, Canada, and the Canadian Pacific and National Railways. In acknowledging receipt of these, the General Passenger Agent of the Central Georgia Railway writes as follows: "Copies of-each of the books issued from your office have been received, and will be distributed to our field agents in the very best manner. The books are not only works of art, but are intensely interesting, and have educational value. New Zealand must be a beautiful as well as a'productive country. I should like to see it—l hope to some time."
This is typical of the letters received from the various organisations, and appears to show that considerable interest is being' taken in Dominion matters in both America and Canada.
