EXPLOSIVES USED
BURGLARS FORCE SAFES

LEVIN, This Day. .Yesterday the Otaki Dairy Company's office was broken into. On Monday morning a charge of gelignite was inserted in the safe keyhole,, but the burglars decamped on the' approach of a factory motor-lorry.
On the same morning the Levin and Lintoti railway stations were entered, and the safes opened with explosives.
