' The ■ floods. in the: western Darling Downs are reported to be' serious.v It is feared that there will be heavy 1 losses of stock, particularly sheep. 'Nine inches of rain fell at Nangawee during the night. The Condamine River is now. running a banker, and when the flood waters come down it will be in high flood. ' Northern New South Wales is' also affected. Besidents of low-lying parts of the Tweed district have moved their belongings to. -higher Vground. ' . /
