HUMPHREY BISHOP CO.
This popular English Humphrey Bishop Company are due to appear at the Grand Opera House on Wednesday, 23rd February, for a season of ten nights and two matinees. It is two and a half years since they were previously in Wellington, and there are several new faces in the company, the members of -which are as follow:—Humphrey Bishop (conductor), Walter Kingsley (baritone), George "Scratcher" Rosa (comedian), Thelma Trott (soprano), Bessie Wliite (contralto), Charles Albert (comedian), Fred Webber (tenor), Dorothy Ryder (soubrette), Dan Flood (piano humorist), Elaine Maye ("The Electric- Spark"), Mark Leslie, (light comedian), Doris Pretty' (solo dancer), Allan Kitson (dancer), Billy Barry "The Wizard of the Drums"), Tom Hardie (solo cornetist), Prang Egan ("The Restless Violinist"), John Montfort ("The Whispering Tenor"), Marie Landon (comedienne), Evadne Royle (soubrette), and Hilda Reaux (petite soubrette), -
