UNWORTHY OF BRITAIN
STEALING AUSTRALIANS /
ROUND CONDEMNATION" 1

(Received 24th January, 11 a.m.)
LONDON, 23rd January.
The "Observer's" cricketing critic comments: "That an English club should be willing to take two internationals from Australia amounts to a cricketing crime. If we call ourselves sportsmen, we cannot condone this niching. Such desertions should be made impossible. "When Australia loseß her best bowler as in 1921, and now her brightest young batsmen lured away, Australians may begin to revise their opinions of British sportsmanship. Let us have done with, such nefarious practices, which indicate either, that England possesses little sportsmanship or is played out and han no home-grown material."
