CONCLUDING RESULTS
INTERESTING RACING
The Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club's regatta concluded ou Saturday in a stiff north-easterly breeze. , The Min-Fra (0. A. Highet) capsized, and the cre\v were brought in by the Rtma (G. "Wilkinson), btartmg was punctual in the afternoon, and the racing close and good, following are the results:—
General Handicap.—Started at« 2.45 p.m. Or ten entries " there were only three scratchings, Mii-u, Eawene, and Marangi. lhe breeze had freshened, and gave opportunities for getting the best out of the craft, which included first and secondclass yachts. All boats were reefed. The Nanette was first away, but soon gave place to Ailsa and Viola, which stood towards the island, while Wairere came" in opposite Pipitea wharf. First round the top buoy were Ailsa, Viola, Windward, Slana, "Wairere, Nanette, and then lolanthe. The order on the turn home was Ailsa, Viola, Wairere, Mana,- Nanette, and lolanthe. Hulk Boat Race.—Only two started. Dalpuscuui (Stalk) won, as Helen Denny (C. Middleditch) did not finish. Launch Race (morning).—Kereru 1, Tana 2. Won by 3sec. Launch Race.—Started 3.44 p.m. Cox--rected- times were:^ Ailsa Craig, 7%min, 4hr lOmin 50sec, 1. Tinonora, smin, 4hr llmin 50sec, 2. Doephin smin, 4hr 16min 53sec, 3.
