STAFF PICNICS.

The annual picnic of the T. aDcl G. Mutual Life Society was held at Day's Bay iv fine weather. There was a large attendance of members of the staff and their friends. The children and adults were well caterd for in the way of races and refreshments, all the younger ones carrying home with them a present. Prizes ■were awarded to the following:—Ladies' I.A.S. competition: Mrs. Sexton. Staff ladies' race (under 20): Miss D. Roberts, 1; Miss Tate, 2. Staff mens' handicap: Bryce, 1; V. Marquis, 2. Staff ladies' race (over 20): Miss H. Roberts, 1; Misses.: Judd and Chesterman, 2. Staff men's race (over 40): Slyfield, 1; M'Donald, 2. Staff ladies' open handicap: Miss Maciver, 1; Miss H. Roberts, 2. Men's divisional relay: W. C. Brown, Kennedy, Bryce, aud Golding. Ladies' relay: Misses H. Roberts, Prebble, M. Clark, and E. Clark.' Boys' race (4 to G): Forbes M'Donald, 1; Ted Kennedy, 2. Girls' race (1 to 6): Ethel Sexton, 1; June Flan, 2. Boys' race (7 to. 10:) Jack Corson, 1; lan M'Clymont, 2.
