A deposit of iron ore has been dis'« covered in the Tambura Pass, in, .the Central AppenLnes.lt is declared to contain 68 per cent, of' metal,' compared with 40 per cent, in other European, mines. It is hoped to secure a daily, output of 300 tons of pure metal, enabling Italy to discard imports. • _v^
