The Liberal Council has issued » statement to the effect that the Administrative Committee Js acceptance. of: Mr. Lloyd George's endowment entailed serious consequences to the party's organisation, including a morar obliga- . tion towards the donor, apparently: incompatible with the freedom of'policy] and judgment essential to healthy po- [ litical action.
