IRON ACROSS SAILS
ADELAIDE EXPRESS.IN PERIL
(United Press Association.—Copyright.) ADELAIDE, 21st January. A serious accident to the Melbourne Adelaide express -was , narrowly averted to-day, when the front wheels ofthe engine left the rails near Mount Lofty. Investigation showed that a large piece of iron, had been placed across the lino, causing the wheels to jump the rails. No'one was injured.
