AIR FORCE DISASTER
'PLANE HITS CLIFF IN MALTA
(Received 19th January, 2 p.m.)
MALTA, 18th Jan. An Air Force aeroplane, attached to the carrier Eagle, crashed on a cliff at Calafrana. Flying Officers E. Chafe and G. O. Owen and a telegraphist. G. W. Burton, were killed. It is reported fliat the third officer perished.
