RECALLING 1918 EPIDEMIC

(United Press Association.—Copyright.) LONDON, 17th January. The influenza epidemic is spreading in many London suburbs, and the doctors are finding difficulty in coping with all cases. Fortunately, the attacks in Britain are much milder than those on the Continent, and have not caused anything like such a heavy death-rate, but some features are similar to the 1918 outbreak in Australia and New Zealand. Doctors are finding all the members of some households abod and receiving instructions to obtain the key at another house and let themselves in. The present' outbreak la attacking persons of all ages.
